Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on 1 May 2026 launched Indias first Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) barrier-less tolling system at the Chorayasi Toll Plaza on the Surat Bharuch stretch of National Highway-48 in Gujarat, ushering in a new phase of seamless highway travel.
